At Watkins & Associates, we pride ourselves in being a South Georgia firm. While many communities have been forced over the years to obtain engineering expertise from large, expensive firms located hundreds of miles away in large cities, we have established a consulting engineering firm location in South Georgia that can provide this same quality service from a convenient, central location and for less cost. Our office is located in Tifton, Georgia. We are centrally located on Interstate 75 and U.S. Highway 82 and are available at a moment’s notice to coordinate with clients.
Currently, our team includes four Professional Engineers, a CADD technician, and administrative staff. The office is equipped with the latest technologies available for the development and production of of engineering studies, construction drawings, specifications and GIS mapping.

Firm History
On November 1, 2005, Stacy G. Watkins, P.E. formed the consulting engineering firm of Watkins & Associates, L.L.C. Stacy G. Watkins, P.E. has practiced engineering in South Georgia for the since 1994. His engineering experience includes past positions as an Assistant County Engineer, as a branch manager of a large Macon based consulting engineering firm, and as a co-owner of a consulting engineering firm located in Tifton, Georgia. During this time, he gained valuable experience in local government, planning, surveying, engineering design, and construction management services while working with many cities, counties and utility authorities throughout Middle and South Georgia.

Our Philosophy
Watkins & Associates was formed with the idea of providing a common sense approach to our engineering services and an attention to detail philosophy that our clients have learned to expect and appreciate. Honor, courage, and commitment are the traits taught to Mr. Watkins while serving in the United States Marine Corps, and these traits have shaped Watkins & Associates into the firm it is today.
